Kevin & Jon imagined a sophisticated wedding reception with a modern, wine bar vibe. Then, we learned they planned a custom attire change before the reception. Stop the presses! A couple that fashionable must have two sets of couture boutonnieres! Creating this dramatic, wine-themed aesthetic for their wedding day was tons of fun. We started with our circular grapevine arch adorned with mostly greenery and, of course, grapes. The color palette was silver, dark navy, & plum. Our designs focused primarily on greenery, vines, & texture, with touches of flowers in just the right places. The room was lit with candles on the tables and hanging from the orchid-adorned trees.
The modern and spacious ballroom at the Marriott Marquis Chicago was the perfect setting with its floor-to-ceiling windows and opulent and stylish ceiling. Kudos to photographer, Something Blue Photography, for artistically taking advantage of one of the greatest cities in the world including photos in front of “All As One,” the blue flower & gingko leaf mural in Ping Tom Park by artist, Anna P Murphy!
We were honored to be part of the team for Kevin & Jon’s beautiful wedding – and we extend a great big THANK YOU to photographer, Something Blue Photography for sharing such amazing images!

All the summer garden-party feels – that was Jess & Doug’s early June wedding at the Chicago Golf Club! The reception was held under a spectacular sailcloth tent with colorful but light & airy flowers including wisps of greenery above the checkerboard dance floor.
Kate & Joseph’s beautiful July wedding possessed a sophisticated & classic elegance reminiscent of movie stars and Gatsby. Our goal was to create a clean & modern, yet traditional, feel with simple, elegant blooms in white with touches of champagne. Some of Kate’s favorite flowers are white garden roses and ranunculus, so her bouquet was filled with fragrant roses, garden roses, ranunculus, freesia & stock.
